The improved volume distribution— especially in the nose—provides greater stability, while the more rounded bottom at the front enhances glide, hence leading to smoother take-offs and touchdowns.
Thanks to a slightly wider tail, stability is preserved while the slim outline and parallel rails promote glide and speed during take-off. The step on the bottom near the tail creates a clean break to channel the water flow at the back without generating excessive drag when in motion. The removal of the central step on the bottom, previously in front of the twin-tracks, makes the board compatible with Foil Drives.
